Bonaire is the perfect island for outdoor activities whether it is underwater, on the water or on dry land. Belmar Apartments is happy to assist you in arranging your activities. You can pre-arrange activity packages like a kids program, windsurfing, diving, and sightseeing or you can just drop in our office during your vacation for last minute activities.
You can add a diversity of activities to your Belmar reservation or e-mail us later when your vacation is close at hand. You can enjoy scuba diving, snorkeling and swimming directly from our private pier. Our on-site dive shop can provide all rental equipment, air fills and boat dives. We have our Drive, Dive and Stay package designed with the scuba diver in mind.
Boat Snorkel Trip
Let the boat take you to Klein Bonaire to discover the shallow reefs around this beautiful island in front of the coast of Bonaire. Just drift away and watch the lovely underwater world. Want to take a break? The beach, with its natural white sand, offers a great opportunity for those who want to get a nice suntan before going home.
Mangrove Snorkel
The Red Mangrove maze and its wonderful surroundings are an excellent area for snorkeling. Accompanied by a guide you will experience that snorkeling is not just a common fish observation technique. Let the guide tell you everything about the mangrove and enjoy the “nursery” of the ocean.
Mangrove Kayak
Explore Bonaire’s red mangrove maze in a kayak as you weave in and out of the protected inlets. An experienced guide will introduce you in the special environment of the mangroves.
Cave Exploration & Snorkel
Instead of going underwater, go underground! The guide will take you to explore different caves, which provide fresh water pools, suitable for snorkeling among the majestic stalactites.

Island Tours
Enjoy an excursion along the islands northern and southern coastal roads. Just stop the car and take pictures of beautiful pink flamingos in the Lake Goto, checkout the historical village of Rincon, have a look at the old slave huts and complete your tour with a trip to the donkey sanctuary.
Sunset Sails
What better way to end the day than go on a sail at sunset and wait for the “green flash”? There are many ships you can join, so just come to the front office and ask the staff for the different options.

Windsurfing
Belmar Apartments is perfectly located for a quick trip to Jibe City or the Windsurf place. Both surf shops are located in the word famous surf side of Lac Bay. Take a windsurf lesson or just rent equipment at the shops and enjoy the crazy pacific winds of the Caribbean. The lessons are provided on all levels.
Sport Fishing
The waters around Bonaire are habitat for species like blue marlin, white marlin, sailfish, wahoo, tuna and mahi mahi. Fishing grounds are close to shore which means more fishing time.
Try your luck at a half or full day of sport fishing.
And what better way to end the day by having your own freshly caught for dinner!
Sail, Dive & Dine
The Sail, Dine & Dive tour combines Buddy Dive’s guided diving with all-inclusive service from Epic Tours, ultimate relaxation, and the luxury of lunch and a 4-course dinner on board a catamaran! During the 8-hour Sail, Dive & Dine tour from 11 am to 7 pm, you will make two guided dives in the Marine Park of Bonaire and Klein Bonaire. After the first dive, we will serve lunch and drinks while you enjoy a sunny or shady spot on the 44ft catamaran. We will smoothly sail toward our next dive spot while you gear up for the second guided dive. After the second dive, we’ll find a beautiful sheltered spot for you to enjoy ice-cold drinks and downtime on board the catamaran while the crew prepares dinner. You will end the day enjoying a 4-course dinner and drinks during one of Bonaire’s famous sunsets.
